On a side note... Something else positive is that he is a more than adequate corner taker. He put in at least 3 or 4 really good corners today that created some good chances (and Zubi's goal came from one of his corners).

Good to see a few of the haters who moaned for the summer that the opportunity cost of signing Madueke was ruining everything are now barging their way onto the Noni bandwagon after witnessing about one hour of his actual football in our shirt.

Good to see him playing this well already, got a chance with Saka being out and fair play to him he is showing what he is about.

Said it in the summer despite all the stick he got he is a really good player and something completely different to what we have in the squad

he's been in great form. he kind of reminds of dembele the same age. beats 1 or 2 guys for fun everytime he's on the ball, but might make a weird decision at the end of it. he's going to be an asset if he can keep this level of play up

Definitely warming to him having not wanted him in the summer. Would still like to see some end product after the tricky run rather than just get to the byline and have the cross blocked every time so hopefully that comes. Hopefully the odd goal or assist. We at least don't feel like the whole house falls down with Saka out for a few games which I guess was the whole point.

Yeah he's a very able back up to Saka. Certainly light years better than Sterling.

We're finally seeing the evidence with our own eyes of the long held theory that having a front three with greater goal threat and menace across the line would create space across that line.

I think where it might fall down slightly is with Gyökeres' ability to create chances against one marker in tight areas when we're territorially dominant, but it's still really pleasing, and you'd expect Eze also to begin turning it on one on one from the left.

If we want an extra dimension, then Jesus may bring that next year, whilst I also think we’ll sign a left sided attacker which will allow Eze to play centrally.

Must admit I wanna see Havertz flanked by Eze and Madueke now, even though the great thing about Gyökeres is the way he draws defenders, Kai's weird drifting probably also gets a power-up from defenders neurotically focused on Noni and Eze's quick feet.

Burnwinter just picture it, you start with a full team away, you've got a CL game midweek and its 0-0 at the 70th minute, all of a sudden you are swapping out Saka and Gyokeres and bringing on Madueke and Havertz.

Loving him cautiously! Talented but still needs to adapt to his teammates a bit. Still he is like a breath of fresh air. Direct, dangerous and plays without a care in theme world. 👏🙌

What I find most impressive is that he has the ability to look up and dribble/ move with the ball. Most players like him look down and lack awareness. What he lacks is timing of the pass or may be that's just knowing his team mates better. Let's hope he is another one of those Chelsea players who got away from them. If he adds a bit of intelligence and variety to his play he could explode.

I wonder if will see saka on the left at some point in the season. If Noni continues his form, someone like me will be tempted to try Saka at left with him being more experienced.

Big fan of how Madueke's performed and I can see potential but there's a long way for him to go before he's a regular in the first team let alone worthy of getting Saka to move away from his preferred position.

Madueke was our brightest attacker but ultimately players like Saka (or Eze) will walk off that pitch with a goal or an assist against a team like Forest, even if they weren't as dominant. That's the standard he needs to reach.

Mirth I think he will go up a level very soon and we have nabbed from Chelsea before he does that. From people who have worked with him they all say he is a keen learner and works hard on his game, combine that with the talent he has I have no doubt this guy will go up a level or even two with us in the near future.
