I'll tell you this for free if it'snot adding up for you. Martinelli has been objectively speaking substantially better than Madueke this season. So whatever you want to say about him, know that your boy has been quite a bit worse.

Also keep thinking Saka is shit and Madueke is good. Once again they've had similar outputs. Objectively speaking they are either both shit, or both good.

I don’t actually mind his numbers if he creates chaos in the attack. Similar to what Doku does for Man City. But he’s doing silly stuff like going to the byline and not crossing isn’t good enough when you have Nwaneri available.

Noni replaces our most prolific player in Saka and cripples an already low scoring forward line, add Ode behind them and no wonder our xG from open play is barely over 1 in the league

An ageing Trossard has done miles better than him this season even though leo has been poor recently, Leo from 2023 to end of 2025 was brought for 20m and was the definition of a good squad player, for more than double that money, to say that Noni has not been bad or been good is just utter nonsense

There was a point yesterday when he got away from his man on the right side with space ahead , made a good 2 yards clear on his marker and then just stopped. I was thinking go on Noni go all the way , cut inside and slam it with your left foot. Could have been one of the great solo goals but no.

I don't think he's been that bad overall but his last three performances since returning from the International break have been some of the worst I've ever seen.

He did also get injured for England, so could possibly be carrying something.

II would like to Madueke with Odegaard, Havertz and Eze/Trossard. We haven’t really seen him used as a tight outlet with left sided build up. I suspect that’s how he’d be best used. But he’s not a like for like Saka replacement.

I think Madueke, Gyokeres, Martinelli help solve our issues with directness. But we can’t get the best of them because the creatives are constantly injured

Feel sympathy for him because he's way out of his depth and the club paid at least £40m too much for him. He cannot start any more games. He shouldn't even appear as a sub. The cynic in me thinks he's only started recently (despite his poor performances) because we had no other left-footed player to take corners, but 1) Odegaard seems to be back and 2) we don't score from corners any more.
