Yes I was a bit surprised, in a good way, how high up the pitch he was during the game. He was even darting into the box on occasion, so he's been given a licence to attack.
Was also helped by the fact that Milan basically defended on the edge of their box all game.
JazzG Looks very nimble and progressive with his passing. Rice and him are a very good match.
Most important thing is that he doesn't wait 3 seconds before playing a pass, like a certain hopefully soon to be in jail player.
Zubimendi, Rice and Ødegaard are, on paper, the best midfield in the world.
Kel Varnsen On paper it's as good as any I've seen in the last 10-15 years. Hopefully they'll have as much chemistry on the pitch too. The depth is superb too.
Kel Varnsen
Dont know if i'd say 'the best', but up there, certainly within top 3 or 4.
Kel Varnsen if Odegaard gets back to his form from the 2 seasons before last season it's right up there.
Klaus assuming Ode shows up this season and that last year was an abnormally for him
If Odegaard can recapture his best form we’ll be insanely good
Not even close to Kroos, Modric, Casemiro for me.
He's going to have to get up to speed real quick. Newcastle showing him how much time he will have on the ball in the PL

I dont think it will take him long to adapt. Its actually good that he sees Prem pressure in preseason.
Zubi seems like a great passer but is anyone concerned about his lack of ball winning skills? Seems a bit light in that aspect, not sure if opponents will see that as a major weakensss for us. Newcastle first goal prime example of that
Sicario2 he's one of the best ball winners and tacklers on earth
I haven't see anything in the 1,5 games so far that makes me even a bit worried about him. Looks just the ticket for us.
est me neither. he's playing one of the most complex roles in the side. I've seen enough green shoots to be feel he'll be fine next to dec and ode
Looks like a 26 year old Jorginho
Pepe LeFrits Yep
Think he'll divide opinion (just like Jorginho did) after the initial excitement but coaches will love him!
If we weren’t a team of man mountains then it could be an issue but overall we should be able to more than match teams physically
