I think also underrated is the effect a player like him can have as a multiplier. See as example how City crumbled post Rodri injury. That security blanket in front of the defence, ability to consistently make the right decisions and keep things ticking along, is hard to quantify but is now a huge positive in our favor. It's what the current Ballon D'Or holder does so well, and apparently we've got the the next best thing in that position. I am not sure folks appreciate this enough quite yet.
