daredevil yeah we sell badly because we sell rubbish or older players who have earned a smooth exit. Look at Trossard, we probably could have made double selling him last summer but we asked him to stay, paid him a bit more and it was worth keeping him. If we sell someone like Martinelli or Nwaneri that's when I'll judge the ability to get a fee because those are 2 players who should never be leaving on the cheap.

Sicario2 he has an option for another year. Should be getting at least £70m for a 25 year old Brazilian international forward who's been a big player for us for years. In this market it'd be horrendous to only get £40-50m. May as well keep him if that's all we can get.

Most of the time when we are looking to move them on it's usually very clear Arteta is finished with them and most clubs can see that so it plays to their advantage.

Maybe true, but i dont think GabMart is in that camp. Even if he doesnt start, he's brought in as a sub all the time. Clearly Arteta still has use for him, and 40-50 in this market, when average randos are going for more than that, he can command 60+

Well, unless we bring someone else in on the left, i dont see us selling Marti, especially on the cheap. I mean, if we bring someone in like Barcola (would take pretty big money for that), we may sell Gab to recoup some of that money, but i still think Arteta sees him as useful for us. He certainly was useful in the CL last year.

Both him and MLS are some of the lowest paid players in our squad. Even players like Nwaneri and Reiss Nelson are better paid. Thats really the reason. Depending how much he plays and performs this season MLS is certainly getting a new contract by next year. IMO it could be as early as January.

Unless we can get Alvarez and/or Yildiz, I’m fine running back Martinelli for at least half the season and re-assessing in January. I still think Bruno is going to be huge for Gabi and might create better circumstances for him to be a productive player with his passing in behind.

zubimendi has been burned out by playing every league last season and in his first year in england gone to 2 finals and then straight away in a week gone to a world cup and then came back 2 days ago

I mean literally the fact he was a sub all of last season, went away injured then came back to top fitness and had another 3 weeks of full training before the world cup.....i mean you are just grasping at straws here
