Same, only unsure about LB. I like MLS and what he can do defensively as well as on the ball. Calafiori seems more attack minded and not as quick either so would need cover but with a dou ke pivot of Zubi and Rice we have enough cover really. And this new guy at LB. Seems left back is the only part that is up for grabs to me.
You also know how much I like Martinelli. And as much as I do I think signing Eze kind of signals the end of his time as first choice. Until we got him, I'd still have wanted him to start every game ahewsd of Trossard and Madueke and some of the others we've been linked with. Tbh I'd still have Martinelli as a starter and have played them together behind and wide of Gyok if we didn't have Rice. A front line of
Martinelli ------Gyok -------Saka
---------------Eze--------Ode
looks tasty to me but with Rice having to be in the team someone has to drop out and unfortunately thats Mart.
That said Dules lineup with Ode instead of Nwaneri could also do some damage, albeit with one less attacking player than I'd like as our 5th will be Cala joining in instead of another dedicated attacking midfielder/winger.
