We had a shocking culture here, it was a huge problem. ManU and arsenal burned through managers trying to find one to fix the culture. The managers got eaten by the bad eggs in the squad. He's the first one to be successful at that. If that was normal the other managers would have done it first.

We were a joke, I've seen players private messages about arsenal when they were linked and they just took the piss out of us.

That's completely turned around. He had so many players to clear out either shit or past their best with bad attitudes.

He's clearly brought us on leaps and bounds. Others only dreamed of us competing with top CL teams.

I'm not well connected, I do however come across GB athletes, football agents, football scouts ect. More and more rarely footballers as that's all kept in house, confidentiality is massive now. But I used to come across more footballers years ago when we were shit. For obvious reasons I'd never give names.

David Moyes, Louis van Gaal, José Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjær, Ralf Ragnik and Erik ten Hag and now almoran under preforming all of those so far. There have also been a few interim managers, such as Ryan Giggs and Michael Carrick

Wenger late stage, emery got eaten alive by this team. And Freddie as and intern manager.

If cultural issues are easy to solve why is arteta the first one off all these to do it? Not sure why you'd deflect from the question unless you've an agenda or something.

Must say I understood your point. Perhaps others didn't think you were talking about more clubs than Arsenal. We were definitely a banter club in the past. We're taken seriously and have a lot of appeal to players linked now, you can see that in how we're doing business. I'm certainly grateful to Arteta for his part in digging us out of the sort of nightmare United are still in.

Mirth Agreed, you feel confident now that once we have a lead more often than not we can see that game out.

We just need to work harder on how we play in transition, clear with new additions it will take a bit of time to find the right balance but even today we could have polished them off if we had been more composed on the counter.

Meatwad let’s meet in the middle then. If we played Thierry Henry in this role as center forward, like this I’m pretty sure he doesn’t become a legend here. A manager gives their best players the best platform to perform. We’ve seen what this chap does best - run the channels, carry the ball into and finish in the box, We out here playing him like he’s peak /Giroud. We are doing this wrong. It’s basically what we tried to do with Aubameyang all over again.

I can see fan sentiment turning this season if he doesn’t deliver - irrespective of how close we get.

A lot of fans aren’t going to be happy with spending 110m on Havertz and Madueke given how all thought it was a head scratching allocation of funds.
