Don Pacifico ok, so what are we going to do if Zubimendi gets hurt or if our striker is trash (risks that apply equally to all teams in the league)?Give up on the season? We should have the squad depth at this stage that is good enough to withstand injuries, and variations in form. If we have to play some games with a few non first teamers, we should be able to cope.
I feel there has to be a line in the sand. I appreciate that for everyone, that line is drawn in a different place. But once we (club ownership) have addressed the recognized issues we have - quality and squad depth wise, the rest has to be on the manager and his management team.
