Fact is, rests help and we have brought in all this depth for that - Furthermore the game against inter had ZERO meaning to it from a sporting perspective, 3 points against the bottom team at home and we'd be 1st or 2nd assured, instead we prioritized the CL deadrubber to start Saka and Trossard and benched them against NFO and then had them tired today

Yeah I'm not buying the argument about players needing to be rested more.

It's no coincidence our best performances recently were in the tinpot cup and low stakes CL dead rubbers. There was no pressure on the players or Arteta in those matches so they looked fairly expressive and fluent.

Arteta crumbles with any sort of pressure applied and his jittery nature CLEARLY transmits to the players. It's now the fourth season of it being blindingly obvious. Reality has dunked on him over and over but he still believes being more conservative and cautious is the answer to dealing with pressure and expectation.

Teta needs to take accountability for the Madueke/Eze signings when one of them has been as bang average as they seemed to be and one that is not being trusted/used enought or good enough depending on your opinion

Eze - My opinion is he did decently when he started playing game with Ode injured, was told to play a tracking left wing position at villa where he made a mistake, completely dropped after and then came on twice only in the league when we had a disjointed cm pairing and second guessing himself too about position in the process not being the creative maverick he can be

Gyo - Been trusted by teta, maybe he scores a few more in a different system but hard not to conclude he isn't getting the physical advantages he had in the Portuguese league and his pace isn't much either so not on arteta imo
