IMO, for a top team, it seems we have to work disproportionately hard and too much has to go right for us score goals. The straightforward goal scored by the front 4 (akin to Man United's first vs. Man City, maybe a bad comparison) frequently seems beyond us.
That our attackers have scored, at best, a couple of goals more than our defenders at this stage of a league season suggests an arguably overly-complicated, cautious style of play that can be just as unreliable as it can be spectacular and dominant when it comes off.
Hopefully the ends will justify the means.
