Mirth Semenyo has hit the ground running so hard they just lost to United in the derby. We're giving City too much of a sniff but the doomerism has already been absurd throughout the season. I'm not taking up an uncritical or nonchalant position, I'm just not going to give myself a wedgie because we drew while City lost.
The flip side of us continually giving City chances to close the gap is that they continue to need the chances because they're not that bloody great. Anyway Villa are potentially 3 points closer.
