No one who looks at this objectively and non emotionally gives the same guy 6+ years and a billion without anything in return. Unlike what you said this isn't even an opinion, Arteta is unique in football history.

jones agree the point is given high security and infinite resources could other managers replicate what Arteta has achieved I think there are some out there because I presumably don't think Arteta is an elite manager based in what I've seen so far.

The point I made is no other top club would have a manager for 6 years who hasn't won a major trophy so arsenal and our fans are massively more patient. There are no guarantees but it's you've failed to deliver in 6 seasons and let's be honest this won feel right for us so I'd wet can't get over the line now I would not see anything to suggest we will under Arteta.

jones "without anything in return" is your interpretation and is probably not the way the owners see it. Like I said, this is already one of the most successful seasons in the history of the club.

Whether someone else could have gotten more out of these players I really don't know and it's not really something that anyone can know.

That same uncertainty never hindered us from signing players though did it. Like we saw MLS do brilliantly at LB last season and it didn't keep us from dropping 50m on Hincapie.

There's no guarantees in anything ever but if you want to wait for that you'll never do anything in life.

Paradoxically, even if City don't slip up, the kind of results you think we're only getting because it's already over would see us win the league anyway.

Not rotating arguably caused Saka's and Timber's issues. We're lucky that Zooby is just exhausted and not injured. Declan is constantly red-lining. These are issues that happen to all teams of course, but they should not happen as often as they do to us given the deep squad.
