Arteta has one more season left for me and that’s it.
With the investment and numbers of years we have gone without a trophy he has one more season left.
We should be getting a healthy budget for this summer and on the back of the fucking up last 3 windows I think the board have no choice to act or face a massive backlash from the fans.
On these grounds Arteta has to deliver.
Minimum is a trophy even if it’s the Fa Cup for me. But really should be the league.
We can’t be having these ‘nearly men’ seasons again and the project/players won’t survive post 2026.
Make no mistake the pressure will be on Artera from the beginning next season. We need to hit the ground running and no more BS about injuries, ref’s or any other excuse - he simply has to deliver.
He needs to sort out the load management issue, he needs to rest our big players more often, he needs to stop having favourites and needs to fundamentally change the way we play so we are less risk adverse, needs to take the FA cup seriously as a back up trophy.
He needs to sort out his record in semi finals and in April.
On paper we should have more motivation than any team to win something next year following the close runs of last few years.
If not I want him gone this time next year. Enough is enough.
