Would be an idea to ship both of them to be honest. I'd be marginally more against Chamakh being sold but would quickly forget it if we addressed the situation properly.

We need to get some little kid to hold up a 'Please buy Benzema' banner at the Emirates Cup. Worked for United that season they signed Rooney :p

Benzema always looks so lazy and immobile on the pitch. What makes you guys think he can do a job on either flank here for us? Offensively - possibly, defensively - can´t see him being any better than Arshavin. Or do you only see him as back up for RVP?

our scouts did a great job on chamakh. no one noticed that he doesn't know how to kick a ball?

Benzema does a lot of his best work starting from the left. I'd expect him to be plenty better than Arshavin there.

He's a straight up striker for me and not suited to a wide position.

Play him through the middle with Van Persie just behind. I think those two alone would be an incredible handful for any team in the league.

Then build a balanced midfield behind them. If that means we have to sell Arshavin and put Nasri and/or Walcott on the bench some weeks then so be it.

Same but he should do well here.

Also feel the same. Not completely sure about him, but I suspect he'd score a lot of goals for us.

Benzema at Lyon was fantastic, honestly think him and Robin would be fantastic. Don't think he's a wideman though.

How much wage is Benzema on? I doubt, he'd like a wage cut and I reckon he's already getting more than Cesc.

€90'000 a week apparently.

That's not that much. I reckon we could pay him that. But, I still don't think we'll go for someone of his stature if we have both Chamakh and RvP here.

He's performed really poorly for Real this season. Not sure he's the same striker. Another Klaas Jan Huntelaar.

He's lazy and lacks pace. Quality player but there are better options out there for that money. If we want to play 4-4-2 I'm pretty sure it would work well with Walcott and RvP up front too.

Well if Goal.com and Marca say so, I'm off to get BENZEMA 88 on the back of my shirt!

It's better than caughtoffside at least!

Not sure I'd agree with that, he works quite hard when things ain't going his way and is more pacy than RVP for a start

He's not Theo but he has pretty decent pace IMO, certainly isn't slow.

That move alone would allow me to suppress my Wenger hate for a few months. We NEED that type of player to show our fans and players that we are serious, and to strike a little bit of fear into opponents' hearts.
