I think he could have a Huntelaar like resurgence after he leaves Real. The ability is certainly there, he's still young too. Has a bit of pace too which Giroud is sorely lacking.

Quality striker but his attitude stinks. Would definitely take him if the price isn't excessive, too much talent not to give him a shot.

The Nasri of strikers. Would prefer Benteke. He's proven he can score against everyone and will likely hit 20 goals this season playing for Villa, playing for us he could get 25+ plus he's young and going to continue developing. I'd pay a boat load for Benteke.

Benteke has shown he is the next Drogba and can score against anyone, we should be banging in bids for him if we are going to waste a shit load on benzema who is good but not worth the money quoted.

I see that Benzemas reputation has taken a big hit. I think he has been unfortunate in both fronts - club and country. He has to be second fiddle to CR in Real and he has to be the leader in a France team that is more than average.

Put this kid in the right setup as the main man and he will bang them in from anywhere. His link up play is on another planet compared to Benteke.

The situation that he finds himself in the French NT isn't so different to the one he'll be in at Arsenal. And 19 hours without a goal is pretty bad no matter how unfortunate he is.

Internationals are hardly the way to judge a player, otherwise Rooney (and every other English player for that matter) is a bit crap too, while Messi isn't anything special either.

Sure, but in conjunction with his underwhelming performances for Real Madrid there's definite cause of concern. For £40m I'd walk away and spend it on another player.

Benzema is one of the most talented footballers in the world. He has his issues, but at least he'd be exciting to watch.
