He stopped playing after his agent negotiated his move at christmas. It wasn't because he was overused.
Benzema
You're saying he stopped caring or something along those lines?
Yes. He couldn't give a shit once his move was sorted.

been saying it for a while now: silva is the best defender in the world. pure class.
thiago silva is certainly a high quality defender, but the biggest issue is that he needs that organizer/stalwart beside him to get the best out of him..
that's the very thing we are so desperate for ourselves.. we dont have that either
and no, he's not leaving Milan. in fact, it was his wife that decided that he was going to Milan instead of Real Madrid because she wanted to live in Milan
Milan has nothing on London...
Weather?
Are you anti rain?! That´s just sad...

Flamini had his move sorted at christmas? News to me.
And i didn't think his performances dropped that much in the second half of the season, he seemed to care just as much as before. Obviously his influence dropped as he picked up injuries and missed games (conspiracy theorists would probably say he wasn't injured i suppose).

Actually, it rains almost twice as much in total precipitation in Milano compared to London. Strangely London has more rainy days though, but not by much. And that's straight from Wikipedia!
the weather in milan is not great. northern italy is very different from southern italy in almost every way.
Caught Offside claims the following
"Wenger is prepared to bid around £20million for the player plus give Los Blancos two from Andrey Arshavin, Nicklas Bendtner and Gael Clichy."
Where do they get these ideas. Why would Madrid want any of those players? They are overloaded at AM, would be getting rid of Benzema in order to bring in Bendtner, and do not need Clichy (at least not as a starter). Who writes these rumors?
Madrid would be interested in Clichy. You have to laugh at the idea of Nicklas "give me more playing time" Bendtner going to Real though.
£20m plus two of those would be a terrible deal for us.
By normal estimates, that would value Benzema at £45m or more. No way.
I wouldn't mind giving them Clichy and Bendtner + 10m for Benzema and Lass though. Or +20m for Kaka. If only it works that way...

haha, maybe Wenger went to the cinema and was impressed by the profitability of the pick'n'mix wall.
Benzema being available will be dependent on Mourinho being there next season or not. If he goes Benzema will be staying in Madrid, but if he stays I can see Benz being allowed to leave for a decent price (30M).
If he does become available we should certainly at least register strong interest in him. He is technically adept, fast, strong and exactly the kind of player that would benefit from Wengers tutelage. The thoughts of lining up with Benzema up top next year with RVP just behind him is mouthwatering.

Exactly- He's going to Barcelona.
Even the excitement of the transfer window will quickly fade as soon as the window opens and our rivals secure the players we dream about whilst we faff about and are still praying for that special someone to arrive at the door two weeks into the season moments before the window slams shut sigh
It will be hard to see the other top three teams and maybe even Liverpool snap up all the good players. Again. While we introduce a Congolese youngster with one year's experience in Ligue 2, and some Portuguese kid who nobody's ever heard of. And then Wenger will tell us about how Benzema spent the day with him in Islington before joining Bayern
