UCL R16 PSV v Arsenal Tues 4 March 8pm
Real Madrid 2-1 Athletico
This is still 50-50. Athletico looked the better team before the Diaz goal (out of nothing).
Madrid have sooooo much quality going forward but the are easy to play through. We have a good chance of causing an upset if they go through
7-1 in an away knockout tie is a hell of an achievement.
What I wouldn't give even for a 4-1 at Old Trafford.
Now that was great!
Dom history makers. How lovely to be on the right side of it on this occasion.
Lolz, someone has already edited Wikipedia to show us already qualified for the QF on this season's CL page.
I think we're through boys!
What you’re seeing with Calafiori and MLS is what I’ve been saying these last 2 years. That role is hard to play. I hope folks will be patient.
Wow, what a win and what a performance. I've been critical of him but Odegaard came back to life today.
Twitter was absolutely dead going into this game as well. I think recent PL results have taken the wind out of our sails but there is still something to fight for this season.
Last time we won 1-7 away in Europe, we won a European trophy.
Calafiori what a maverick!
JazzG fuck twitter. This is CL, fresh tournament, new opportunity, all to play for.
Could be a blessing in disguise we are out of the title race, we can really put all our eggs in winning CL.
Sicario2 - Tier 1 don't jinx it
naz the new Inzaghi
Henry the Arteta hater
We can play Kiwior, Nathan Butler, Sterling, Neto etc in the return leg which will be nice. Mikel won't do that but it will allow significant resting for those who need it.
Sicario2 - Tier 1 Great player but also an absolute twat.
JazzG careful, that's my GOAT you're talking about.

Big Willie oh, he's a fucking arsehole. Always has been. Still the greatest player I've ever seen though.
Edit: maybe fucking arsehole is a bit strong, I take that back. I'm not a fan though, obvs.
Great result and I was lucky to pick up a ticket to this on Friday when they went up. Now on the last train back to Amsterdam thankfully I was worried about being stranded in Eindhoven. Was a bit of a strange game PSV really didn't look good but we had some moments where we have a lot of chances away that maybe a better team would exploit. You can only beat what's in front of you but feels the bigger tests are still ahead and I don't think it's possible to read to much into this really. The moment Skelly dived in as well was worried. Showed his immaturity in that moment but we got away with it.
