Claudius Those guys all came in under £75m, Isak will probably be like £125m+. My worry isn't the money, pay what it takes to get the best but his availability. Also he's not scored 30+ goals in his entire career so there is a bit of premium we are paying, this season though he looks like he has stepped up. His all round game is very good as well.
Burnwinter Newcastle are a big project for the Saudis and the last thing they'll want is to lose a key player. I think not being in CL forces their hand a bit because otherwise with 3 years left on his contract they can basically tell everyone else to fuck off.
daredevil That is my worry, can we blow our load on a player who has a serious track record of being injury prone? No doubt about his quality but if he is regularly missing parts of the season that is not ideal.
Big Willie Supposedly big agent commission to get that deal done. Also the salary @Claudius has quoted is after tax, so he will be on around £300k a week at PSG if you want to compare to Havertz.
