What's bad about it

Ramsdale we sold for what we bought him for. His shot stopping and composure wasn't quite good enough.

Raya is still worth what we paid for him more if anything.

Turner I think we broke even on aswell.

The others are just insignificant back ups every club signs for emergency purposes.

If we bought kepa for 70 and sold him for 5 now that could get in the way of other signings.

The comparisons you make are a bit odd. Havertz, Wirtz and Haaland were seen as generational talents at that age, nobody is saying that Sesko is a generational talent. I do concede the price of him is on the high side but that is due to market conditions, not many strikers available on the market.

Sicario2 He is a RW and signed to be backup for Saka. We all complained that we ran Saka into the ground and if this guys is available on a free that will do. Leaves more money to spend on other positions.

If he’s available, take him. And keep working on other moves. This guy got 12 goals and 5 assists last season. He’s not a husk like Sterling. He also generates a shit load of shots and non penalty xG, which is what we lack.

I'm talking about being the 7th forward. I'm not talking about playing some prominent role. If we don't sell Martinelli or Trossard and we sign a center forward and we sign another winger and we sign Sane, then Sane would be our 7th forward. If you really want Max Dowman to go to Manchester United so that we can pay Leroy Sane £100K+ per week in order to play maybe 600 minutes a season, then fair enough. That sounds fucking insane to me. That is the specific thing that I'm saying we shouldn't do. If we were to sell Trossard, though, then things line up.

I’m not excited by Sane in the least but I’d also imagine he could easily match Nwaneri for contribution, and probably has a higher floor as it’s not unlikely Nwaneri struggles in his second season (as plenty of players do).
