The collective head loss on here on the 5th day of the window is extreme to me. If you're upset about Cunha and Mbeumo, I sorta get it but I also believe the reports that they were backup options for us and that we are pursuing winger talents that are either better or have a higher ceiling. I wouldn't want us to get rushed into buying a backup signing and then miss out on a chance to sign a Rodrygo/Barcola/Williams talent later in the window. However, I do understand that previous windows have lost the Arsenal leadership team some goodwill from fans since we puttered around those windows too.
Call me an optimist but I just can't wrap my head around the leadership at the club acknowledging the attack needs improvement and then not doing anything this window. If we are in the same spot in 2 months, I will join in the panic but until then, I'm happy to let it play out and am confident we will get some good attacking talent into the squad.
