For a free transfer I think he'd be a good signing. Seen some Bayern fans talk about him and think he get an unfair rep, one of their important players and Bayern are trying hard to keep him.

JazzG looks like the guy just wants a final big payday. Injury record is concerning too - any squad depth we're buying should be appropriate wages and readily available.

Sicario2 A fair few Bayern fans all still rate him and want him to stay. They aren't so kind to the likes of Gnabry and Coman. Say he is injured a lot but is a big game player and when he plays he gives it his all. Say in recent months he has been good, he might be pulling a Partey and playing for that new contract 😆

Don Pacifico For a free transfer and to add depth, we still need a RW + CF no matter what but I think we are short on numbers and if we spend big on those two positions finances may be stretched.

He's always been undervalued because he's just casual as fook but ridiculously talented.

The fear is now he's casual as fook and over valued. At his age you need to train like an absolute demon. His natural talent isn't going to cut it.

Think it's worrying that there are always so many rumours about these bland boys that Arteta worked with during his time at City. Jesus, Sterling, Sane... first two were complete lemons. Third time's the charm?

Hopefully Berta puts a stop to this nonsense.

To be fair word at city was Jesus was the best player in the team in training. But suffered with a lack of confidence in games. Wenger always and he was correct that the number one striker at the club gets confidence from being the no1. Like all our strikers under him explode when they're first choice not second choice.

Jesus with his all round ability was miles better than the players we had at the time. It would have been mad not to make that signing. Like our points totals with him up top were more than decent when you look through the squad and see the shit that was behind him. Injuries have knackered him but let's be fair to the guy. He was special.

The Sane links reek of agent rumors. Suffice to say, if they are accurate, I will be very disappointed. That would've been a decent signing in the winter but not now.

Speedster The first two months of his Arsenal career were incredible. He was unplayable at times and was doing everything in our attack. That knee injury is such a shame since he looked like he was going to be the best player in the PL after that early stretch.

Speedster adding to this, I posted a video yesterday in the Sterling section where KDB was saying that Sterling was his favourite teammate because he read passes so well and made great runs. I had assumed he’d say Silva or Mahrez or Gundogan. Maybe this is the Sterling Arteta imagined he was getting. Not the carcass.

Speedster Being the best player in training is a bit like Ferguson saying Ravel Morrison was the best talent he's ever seen though, or Claude Dusseau saying Aliadiere was more talented than Henry. It's like winning the most throw-ins in a game. It doesn't really mean anything. Top footballers, and especially strikers, need to be able to cope with extreme pressure in games, and Jesus is a dwarf mentally. He had underperformed his xG for five or six straight seasons too, which is basically impossible, and he arrived with half a good knee. It felt very predictable that he'd turn out this way. Maybe if he had only one of these deficiencies you'd take a punt on him but he ticked 3-4 dark red boxes.

Jesus was a terrible signing. He was a busy bee who ran around a lot, which always seems to endear a player to PL fans, but he was always a square peg in a round hole. Arteta believed that he had the qualities to be a lone #9 and he did not have them. He had a purple patch from the start of the 22-23 season to the World Cup, and he has basically been a zero since then. We are paying him huge wages for another two seasons. One of the only transfers Arteta got totally wrong.

Desperate for some more noise around Nico Williams. A bit short on end product still, but he seems like the perfect Arteta winger.

CPM Jesus was our most influential player until that fateful World Cup. We should’ve won the league that season. Before teams caught up with our football and we could just slice and dice teams like fruit. He was the instigator. I admit he’s done very little since but that era for me was peak.

Claudius it’s not worked out for Jesus or Zinchenko in the long term and we need to move them on but to be fair they helped change the vibe and play style at the club for the better.

Claudius Jesus at his best was always a streaky player - even at City - I'm not convinced that he would have got passed that even if he didn't have injury issues.

Both him and Zinchenko were signed to get us back in the top 4 so they fulfilled their role but there's a reason why City let both of them go and it's the same reason why we don't see a role for either of them now. Neither were 'terrible' signings.
