Seems like everyone's getting into meltdown mode today and I'm not sure why. We're clearly chasing one of Šeško or Gyökeres with a preference and a few backups. My guess is we won't even move on a winger target till that's in the bag.
The comparison of Norgaard to Luiz is a case in point, Norgaard likely isn't even coming as a true second choice player, let alone first choice. If Zubimendi were injured we'd more likely reconfigure than start Norgaard. Luiz wouldn't be interested nor would any decent player under 30.
The glimmer of a suggestion we should've signed Wirtz into Rice's position because we're allegedly looking at Eze is another head scratcher.
It may not all pan out, but we're pursuing the right players as far as you can see. The list has been made by all the bloggers and Šeško, Gyökeres and Ekitike are the first names on it after Isak.
