Definitely Nwaneri over Vieira anywhere. The latter shouldn't be coming back I hope.

Elite LW or CF, and a smart CM to backfill Jorginho and Partey, are absolutely necessary. Then another forward.

Everyone seems to agree on that anyway. Who we might sell looms as the hotter debate of the summer.

Echoing @USArsenal, as long as we address the attack with an additional wide forward and a central forward at the minimum, I'd be fine with any additional signings other than the rumored Zubimendi and Garcia signings. But the bare minimum this summer has to be at least 2 starting quality attackers and if we focus elsewhere before locking that down, we are making a big mistake.

A Sesko/Williams/Zubimendi/Garcia/Guimaraes summer would be incredible though. Add in a creative midfielder that could also play on the wing (Cunha/Eze/Moleiro/etc) and a LB if we sell Zinchenko and that's 10/10 in my book.

Nico Williams is really showing out today. Hard not to imagine what he could look like in our system playing a more advanced role than he traditionally plays at Atletico. Such an explosive ball carrier on both wings. My confidence in him has dipped a bit this year but he does seem to really perform in the big moments and I'd love to see what he does in a team where he's not counted on to be the primary creator.

samthegooner he’s looked good in the past month. If folks are lukewarm on him right low because of Isi overall output, this is the best time to buy.

Claudius I think he's looked very promising even last season and the euros. The threat he offers just by being able to run would be so invaluable for us given how slow our attack can be.

awooga83 if we go into next season with an attack like Saka, Martinelli, Nwaneri, Williams, Havertz and Isak/Sesko - everything changes.
It means we can really stretch play and run more.

Claudius , I'm all for stretches and dips and lunges and burpees. But, does it guarantee us the league?

Sicario2 - Tier 1 Eketike had a great game as well in this round of UEL games. I feel like he's Isak at Sociedad and the guy we should be going for instead of Sesko (who's too stiff IMO, and we have enough of that in attack).

Eketike and Williams for the attack, Zubi in midfield and Garcia to challenge Raya would be a great summer.

flobaba Yes definitely is. https://www.squawka.com/en/features/martin-zubimendi-arsenal-transfer-midfield/ An article on him which you might find useful.

Xavi was obsessed with the idea of bringing him to Barca, Busquets thinks he should be the one to replace him at Barca, Xabi Alonso loves the player and wants to bring him to Real Madrid if he goes there. Then you have Arteta obsessed with him, Liverpool tried their best to sign him. This guy is the real deal.

Bring Back Kerrea Gilbert he's got one of the best right wingers in world football and someone on the other side who was on a similar trajectory up to about two seasons ago (and still could be a very good player, if not quite Saka standard) The idea that he wouldn't love someone of Saka like quality up top seems fanciful to me.

RocktheCasbah whilst I see what you mean he didn't bring either player in and that's what we haven't seen from Arteta in an action sense in recruitment. Martinelli certainly looked promising but I think it's reasonable to say the manager and club should be working on he isn't quite going to develop as we hoped so we are lacking in that sense. The profile of forward he's tended to prioritise have not been in the guise of Saka and have conformed to his seeming focus on hard work over individual game changing attacking quality.

TambourineMan Fully onboard the Ekitike bandwagon over Sesko. I think Sesko will be fine but Ekitike looks like he will explode in the right attack and create more for himself and others.

RocktheCasbah of course, but he didn't sign either of those two.

My post was tongue in cheek anyway. Let's hope the new Arteta-Berta duo makes a big splash on 1st July.
