est I know I have a very minority view here, but I definitely don’t think we should be necessarily looking for pushing up the ceiling. Our big issue is our floor, especially when we are injured or fatigued.
Why comfortable with ceiling? We collected 49 of 57 points in the second half of last season when team was healthy. And we are unbeaten in league versus big six in over two years now - that’s some 20 games.
So our issue is smaller games and periods when we are ailing. That feels like variations in tactics and squad depth, more than looking for an elusive superstar. Not saying we should spurn a superstar, just that that shouldn’t be those bar for what we need.
