MistaT He'd work pretty good in a double pivot with Rice. Defensively he is fine, he's not Rice who is very quick and powerful over the ground and can cover larger spaces but in a compact midfield he'll defend his area well, he anticipates things and will win the ball. If anything Partey looks done defensively, when he first came Partey moved a lot quicker but in recent times you can see he struggles to cover ground and gets done often.
CPM . I think the question is whether we have the creativity further up the pitch to make up for Zubimendi's more steady, pedestrian passing.
I think his passing will surprise everyone, he is someone who reads the game state well. Partey for example only played one way, Zubimendi knows when to up the tempo and when to slow it down calm things down. I think our game management will improve with him.
