lorddulaarsenal we're worse. We struggled to attack and even defend against a 10 man United
Arsenal v Man Utd Jan 12th 3 PM KO - FA Cup 3rd round
RocktheCasbah Bukayo is a superstar. Which nobody else on this team really is. Makes a massive difference to have a player who can bend the game to his will.
Hope Kroenke is focused on this and not the Vikings game
This was pathetic. We’re a man up, chasing a goal, and at most one or two players in the box when we attack. The way they all stand at the edge of the box it’s clearly by instruction. Which I guess there could be a point to but then not by firing endless crosses. Tierney had a great ball but no one there. Odegaard a few too.
And don’t get me started on Havertz. That’s why we used to laugh at him at Chelsea, can’t finish. At least sterling was trying to make things happen by dribbling. That’s why Arteta doesn’t play him, that’s not the plan but guess he had no choice today.
And that was the worse penalty shootout performance by a keeper since Shilton back in whatever that World Cup was.
We played 70 minutes against 10 men. I can't wrap my head around how bad this is.

RocktheCasbah what's really frustrating me right now is that when Odegaard was out Saka carried us. Yet with Saka out Ode has disappeared. I thought if we had one of them we'd be ok.
Chaps, I’m actually in a state of shock.
QuincyAbeyie can't believe I went to work early today just so I could leave home in time to watch this shower.
RocktheCasbah lame

QuincyAbeyie I mean those of you without your head in the clouds should have seen this coming. I, on the other hand, am mortified.
My only saving grace tonight is thank fuck I didn't get tickets.
Maguire and De Ligt are slow and dopey yet we made them look like defensive titans. Arteta's lost without Saka overproducing.
Coombs yes, I think he was.
RocktheCasbah whoever you're talking about, I agree
The game feels like it had 3 phases
Phase 1: we are just doing our control ball and they score.
Phase 2: we are a man up and start attacking. Create a boat load of chances that Division 2 players should’ve finished.
Phase 3: with no useful subs, back to control ball and crosses.
Phase 1 and 3 we’ve seen a lot of. That Phase 2 has really annoyed me.

Let's look at the positives, gunnerblog and the rest of the chumps from the athletic get some needed job security, the PR machine will work overtime for the next few months.
Also Don Robbie gonna get a new house...I bet it's been a bad few years for AFTV
Claudius You don’t play injured players unnecessarily. That’s reckless
Unless their name is Saka of course.
