I get the same spasms and tics when I saw Martinelli-Havertz-Trossard start as when I saw the infamous Denilson-Eboue central midfield partnership.
Edit: Martinelli has just about been OK recently, but Havertz and Trossard are DIRE right now.

It feels we've reached a bit of a dead end with this playing style and the type is team that Arteta has built it can get us in the running but has shown time and again that it cannot get past the line so we need to be looking at what do we need to do to make that progression.
I think that has to include the manager, 5 years with good financial backing but nothing to show for it at this point. He has neglected or chosen not to bring in attacker's with real attacking quality prioritising hard work which very much shows when you look at the majority of our forward line.
