That was such an awful performance and this team is nowhere near good enough to win the title. You can look at the players but for me the buck has to stop with Arteta, it's your squad you've built over the last 5 years you've focused on a defensive no risk approach to football and excluded any attacking improvisation and talent for hard working players.
The outcome is we are really predictable and far too easy to play against. The manager has seen this week in and week out and yet we still seem to approach games like today with seemingly no plan of how to deal with it.
Arteta has brought us all that we are in and around the top again but I have serious questions about whether his management style can win titles and they aren't comfortable but I think we need to be ruthless if we want to get to the top and that includes questioning can this manager get us there.
You always have the careful what you wish for argument but if finishing 2nd or 3rd is as good as it gets then I think we need to be braver and yes risk to change to achieve the big objectives.
