Fulham v Arsenal Sunday Dec 8th 14 KO
- Edited
The last time we won at Fulham was when we put a clock in our dressing room (think it was spring 2023). Subsequent time was when we beat them 0-3 September 2020 during Covid when Auba prob played his last real good game for us (and scored a beauty). Time before that was when we beat them 1-5 under Emery in October 2018 when everyone was signing ‘we got our Arsenal back’. Great goal by Ramsey I recall.
Liverpool not playing yesterday means we can go 4 points behind then if we win today and also put Chelsea under pressure ahead of their game away v Spurs later.
3-1 Arsenal. Up the..
Think this will be a tricky game against a side high in confidence. Need an early goal or two to kill any hope.
goon
Yes and no. It was only two weeks ago Wolves, who are shit, beat them 4-1 at the Cottage. But we must be on it as they can be dangerous, good that Nelson can’t play as he’s been one of their best players.
Eartly goal is great but we scored an early goal last time in the same fixture and we still lost. Need to be on it all game.
They're basically a team built from players not considered good enough to get minutes for us.
They always turn up against us , we need to be on it from the start and not make stupid mistakes
No Gabriel or Calafiori

Calafoiri is as useful as Tomi ffs
Sicario2 - Tier 1 Calafoiri is as useful as Tomi ffs
Zinchenko even worse. First start in ages and then misses the next game completely. Not even in the squad.
Big Willie fucking joke. We need to sort these injury prone players out once and for all in the summer man.
Sicario2 - Tier 1 not a fan of those FBs.
Surprised Merino doesn't get a start.

All our 2023 signings start:
Raya
Kiowir
Timber
Jorginho
Rice
Trossard
Havertz
Damn this will be tough. These unreliable full backs are killing us. Our defensive depth on the bench is Tierney and MLS...scary.

Need a massive FB clear out and a serious rethink of future recruitment there, such a ridiculous collection of crops.
IBL I'm shocked the club went ahead and gambled on Calafiori considering we'd already been burned by Tomi and Zinchenko and Timber had just been out for a whole season.
It's poor stuff.
Anyway, injured full backs or not we can and should still win this game.
1) revenge from last year
2) we are on form and should be in a good place
3) I know he was sold in the summer but no Paulinho for them is huge, he was a monster v us (x2) last season
4) No Nelson hinders them - been one of the best players
5) if we want to win the title we have to win here - no excuses
Annoying we won’t have Timber on the right vs Robinson. Partey may struggle against his pace.
