Rice will play from the start. Ode will be on the bench.
Chelsea v Arsenal Sunday 10th Nov 1630 KO
I can see us losing this badly, but I wouldn't be surprised at all by any outcome except a goalless draw.

Burnwinter even at our nadir, we haven't really collapsed or been blown out for a while. games have still been fairly tight. if we hold Chelsea to less than 2 goals at their place with the form they're in, it will show that our defense can still be relied on in a pinch
Yeah. We don’t do bad losses.
Guys that was an anti-jinx, I'm still feeling bad about my comments pre-Bournemouth
I can really see us losing this badly.
Burnsy even at our nadir we don’t suffer heavy losses brah
Sounds to me like there is a chance Rice doesnt play in this one. If he hasnt even trained yet, and its Friday, that leaves a lot of doubt.
If they score we are done, at this moment in time we don't have 2 goals in this team. So our defenders need to be on it.
They have played kinda like us, slightly better when attacking. Hope Palmer does not play
HomeSteak we'll be okay in attack as long as Odegaard plays...
If Odegaard and Saka are fit, we'll win. I expect a sense of urgency from the moment the whistle is blown till the very end. Fresh energy brewing around the team. Can't you feel it?

Coming in the air tonight, oh Lord
This season has definitely been in its "histrionic mega reverb Phil Collins drum fill" phase for many weeks. We now need it to move onto its "Peter Gabriel ignites his solo career with MTV sensation 'Sledgehammer'" phase
I know this isn't the Music Thread, but inspired by the Americans consistent use of Peter Gabriel, I listened to a couple of his albums recently. Didn't love 3: Melt, but I thought 1986's So was a cracker. Sledgehammer is a proper banger.
With City losing it will be sickening if we don't capitalise tomorrow. In a wider context it'll be even worse if they continue to drop points and we finish behind Liverpool who have a new manager at the helm, need them to start dropping a few too, hopefully this evening will be the beginning of that.
Our 5-0 home win under the lights at the Emirates against these lot was definitely my fave performance from last season. Hope we come out fighting. This will be tough especially if Palmer plays.
Badly need the win to stop the rot and attempt to start inserting ourselves into the title race.
Doesn't look like Rice trained but Havertz and Odegaard did.
It’s a tricky away tie to be fair
