Such a stupid rule
Inta in the ol’San Siro. Tonight
Going to be tough to respond to that as we've not been great at the setbacks
The whole penalty award system needs a review. Because it’s the most faulty thing in football
We'd never get that pen in a million years
On the bright side, I guess it will force Arteta to do something
Claudius On the bright side, I guess it will force Arteta to do something
Probably amount to bringing on Odgeaard earlier than he'd want and end up injuring himself again.
Arteta needs to stop with this garbage football. Get out there and kill them , fed up with the tippy tappy bullshit
We don't deserve to be ahead, and as a result you're always at risk for refs making game changing decisions.
But fuck me we're playing some dire football. I get that its a results oriented business, and Arteta believes in control to achieve our gameplan, but can't we see some freedom up top?
Martinelli has been reduced to rubble and it looks to be of Arteta's design as much as his own doing. How that counter ended in a shit cross is indicative of what he's been asked to do.
The lack of fullback support to combine with Saka and Martinelli and help them create space to take shots or get behind the defence is a major gap in the attack. We were previously forgoing that attacking dimension by having our FB's invert, but we aren't really doing that anymore or with any real effectiveness.
Once again we get "the letter of the law". If the letter of the law isn't followed for other teams its just "common sense" though.
Football should be really simple. Stop this inverted fullback shit and start overlapping
Jesus on for Merino.. interesting sub
Big Willie Lol his solution is bringing on Jesus...
Jesus wept
Jesus for Merino, at least it's an attacking change

Clrnc totally, if you’re going to play a grindball midfield, you’ve got to let loose elsewhere. Mikel ought to start dressing like an old Victorian-era woman to match how bloody conservative his approach is.

Playing attacking football away to one of the best teams in Europe isn't a smart idea.
ohhhhh Saliba.. that was a great wide open chance for a header, and he makes almost no contact.
Timber almost gets caught out, but recovers to nick the ball away
Is it just me or did we used to pass the ball with real zip before?
Now there is a lot of slow passing and isolation ball. It’s a defender’s dream right now
