17-19 he was DOF at Werder, made 0 interesting signings and mostly flops

19-22 he was head of Scouting at Bayer, discovered Ezequiel Palacios for 21m, Moussa Diaby for 15m, Tapsoba for 18m (real find), Schick for 26m, Frimpong 11m, Hincapie 6.3m, Adli 15m... etc. Many good signings that's still there and key for Bayer.

Went to West Ham, tried to turn them continental by going for a Spanish coach, making a lot of foreign signings instead of british ones (Kudus, Alvarez, Mavropanos, Luis Guilherme, Fulkrug, Guido Rodriguez, Todibo, Carlos Soler) etc...

    Of all the what ifs people like to post, I wonder if we ever had a chance with Cole Palmer. Arteta would’ve known about him. Last two seasons with this guy…

      lorddulaarsenal palmer is an offensive monster. Would be interesting to see how much of a striker he’d be with Arteta’s work demands. But having a multi-faceted offensive threat other than Saka and Odegaard would be great.

      Think about the Invincibles. You knew that Henry, Pires, Bergkamp could all score and create and Freddie was always there to finish. Kept all your bloodclat defenders busy

          Claudius Then ypu alsp had Kanu and Wiltord ready to come on at any moment who could also score and create. That team was stacked offensively. If only we had that kind of firepower we'd be unstoppable. Problem is we focus all our effort into signing the players to stack us defensively instead.

            Real Sociedad DOF is stepping down end of the season. We should be all over him, this is the guy that found Isak amongst others.

              He found a 38 year old David Silva? That's not something to shout home about.

              Doing my research, he bought Merino, Isak, Monreal, Matt Ryan, Zakharyan, Sucic, Kubo in some of his more interesting buys, already quite a bit of hit, but there are plenty of misses that I didn't include.

              Loaned Sorloth, Odegaard, Tierney, Andre Silva, Theo Hernandez in, which are pretty successful except Silva who flopped.

              His sales is the interesting bit to me. He bought alot of flops, but managed to sell those flops for profit (how?!) and those hits for huge money.
