Was at the game yesterday so just watching some of it back now. How did it take the VAR 3 minutes to confirm Merino's goal when Gary Neville had it sorted after 1 replay? Ridiculous.
The game itself, really frustrating not to see it out but given the state of our defence by the end of the game, I think it was a good point. My Liverpool mates were all having it off before the game, so I think we should be proud of the effort the guys put in, be very thankful for Bukayo Saka and hope to get some players back in the next week.
Great to see Merino make an impact yesterday too, there was a ball he took down in the first half that was almost, almost, Cazorlaesque in its execution.
