Foul was called on the header. Sort of maybe a foul maybe not that no one cares about in the middle of the field (or the middle of the game). On the replay you can't hear the whistle but you can see him pointing the other way 15 seconds before the ball goes into the net.

We've had a good run without injury to key players and we all know the refs are corrupt as hell but we're missing genuine quality up front. Fantastic goal from Saka but the rest leave a lot to be desired in terms of doing what an attacker is ultimately supposed to do; bulge the net.

With a Haaland, Lewandowski or Kane, for example, we probably win that by 2-3 goals.

That absolutely has to be the next thing we do in terms of player acquisition.

After Gabriel went off you could see we dropped deeper which was disappointing but then again considering our back like was Partey, White, Kiwior and Timber I can understand why they didn't want to be so high up the pitch. With Gabriel and Saliba they'll deal with 99% of things over the top or on the ground. A fair argument to be made that in our best XI apart from Timber/White none of them make our first XI and even those two were not playing in their favoured position.

Saka showed again he is our most important player, the boy makes our team tick.

Would have taken the draw beforehand but obviously gutting to have led twice and so late. Leaves very little margin for error now with 115 FC. Almost feels like we can't afford to drop another point in terms of a title chance. Will we have a defence available next week?

We have had a lot of bad luck. But on the other hand, we play the team sitting 2nd in the league. They have everyone expect Jota, who is their Tomiyasu franchise anyway. We are playing with several folks missing and then have to end with an emergency back 4. We outplay them for much of the game even with this level of disruption.

Tells me that our team is really well coached and committed. But you can only go so far when you end 2nd half in defense short of all of Saliba, Gabriel, Tomi, Calafiori, and Timber while Liverpool get to play their best 4 defenders
