One player is rarely the deciding factor in a single game, but I would feel a lot more confident if Timber is ready for this one. We really need proper full backs against Liverpool's wingers.

Against other wingers/teams - when we're playing fringe players like Kiwior/MLS - I could imagine Rice shifting over to help cover a dangerous left winger like Salah. But they keep Salah so high up the pitch that it's nearly impossible to shield him with a DM.

Timber - out of the game
Saka - on the bench

I genuinely would play Rice as LB.

Clrnc this very much, I think we've been bad at this. If he's not quite right you have to find another way not risk pushing him early because without him for a period of time that could be end of season.

Sicario2 - Tier 1

Cala being available would be surprising but huge. He does need to go easy on the aggressive sliding tackles (against Southampton he did one and it was a miracle he didn’t do any harm to himself or the player).

Needs to have better risk management otherwise he will always be on the treatment table.
