Caliafiori seems to like letting the ball run across his body. It’s a useful tactic as it lets you play an aggressive pass or dribble with your first touch as you’re in motion.
But it’s also something you rarely see Gabriel/Saliba do. Both of them seem to kill the ball under them, and then open passing lanes. They’re confident on the ball, but not the most expansive.
Be interesting to see if Cali is afforded some freedom or if he gets that drilled out of him.
