Coombs we won. That's literally all that matters when you go to Spurs. I've known this since I was a kid and every single Arsenal player who has played in an away match there will tell you that.

If you want to go and analyse the game and critique the team, be my guest. I don't think anyone who's walked back down the Tottenham High Road today, got on the Victoria Line back to Finsbury Park and danced into the Twelve Pins will be that bothered. It'll be rocking in there right now and rightly so.

Watched at O'Hanlon's in NY. Joyous atmosphere, great win.
Thought we were better throughout, only an issue of time before we scored, they never looked threatening.

Puts into perspective how good we are and that we'd be worthy champions. I have so much sympathy for our players and coaches because they're up against the third biggest cheats in the history of football and battling referees every other game.

I'm quite apologetic towards Arteta and his team, but at the end of the day, if he wants to break into the same group as Graham and Wenger, he needs to do what they both did and beat the City juggernaut. Graham beat Liverpool and Wenger beat United, so Arteta has to beat City in the same way. Although, I wouldn't hold it against him if he didn't.

Massive win today, without what many would argue will become our first team midfield in Rice, Merino & Odegaard. We were resolute and despite them having the ball looked compact and didn't give much away. Really proud of that performance.

Huge result with the players missing. Without Rice and Odegaard here and presumably the latter against 115 FC I was thinking 2 points from these 2 games was best case scenario. This is a big win.

Couldn't help thinking about my Dad (Spurs fan) throughout. Last NLD towards the end of last season he was in hospital and I told him about the game. This is the first one since he passed and I can't talk to him about it.

I can imagine quite hard, one of my best friends was an Arsenal fan and after he passed I found Arsenal games quite tough to get through. After every match without fail we'd be on the phone doing our own analysis and now nobody calls. You never forget mate but over time it gets easier.

I kind of get the fear going into it but once I saw the lineup I realised we're actually a very strong team, even with a number of players out.

Big Willie What's with all the panic. We still have a pretty strong team out there and should be able to beat these lot. Ode is a big miss, true, but we have enough about us with Saka, Trossard, Martinelli and Havertz to get at them with deep balls from Partey and Jorginho. And our defence is the same solid mfkers they have always been. Have to say, I'm pretty confident about this one.

Even with the players we had out I knew we had a very good chance of beating them.

As soon as it titled to them being favourites they were done imo. They just can’t handle pressure and this played into our hands.

Neville actually said it perfectly, we may have not won a league but we have enough experience to be able to get wins over the lines in these sort of games even with adversity and things going against us.

Timber was my MOM btw. You can tell this guy is going to be a warrior for us, love his personality and his confidence. We’ve missed him big time last 12 months.

JazzG Thanks. Definitely felt a bit emotional being the first NLD without him. I say "talk" but, with him being a Spurs fan it was usually much more of an argument (although we'd both softened in recent years and managed to talk about the games in much more depth rather than just bicker over the flash points lol) which wasn't always fun. But obviously wish I could do it again.
