Lol, 4-2. Turned over and Gvardiol played it back to Ramos who slammed it in, only to be initially ruled out for offside. Took the commentators about 10 minutes to realise the blindingly obvious that it couldn't be offside if it came off a City player

Would the entire top 8 be seeded as a single pot? Or does where you finish in top 8 matter for seeding purposes?

In my understanding it will be a tennis style draw with seeds starting with 1st being drawn. If the draw was done now we would be guaranteed to avoid Inter until the final and be drawn against Liverpool/Barca in the semis.
Personally I dont care where we finish as long as we avoid the 2 extra fixtures. Oh and there are no country rules so we can face Villa/City in the R16.

Dragan yeah, avoiding Barca and Liverpool is fantastic. we've done well here. The only variable is where the hell City, Bayern and Real end up. I would be annoyed if we faced one of them in the last 16 because they've been so mediocre in the league phase.

Claudius or at least a European modified-Swiss league system. Not sure the evidence is there for knockouts, yet.

Coombs and failed to score in 4 of our last 5 European away games which isn't great for knockout.

awooga83 actually it’s okay. In a league format you have to win. That 2-2 draw against Villa means you drop 2 points back from Pool. In a knockout, a draw means you go to penalties or are tied for the return leg. If you stop opponents from scoring, you are in a great place.
