Can't quite tell if Liverpool are really good or if they've just had an easy start to the season. Their next four (Palace - A, Chelsea - H, Leipzig - A, Us -A) should tell us quite a lot about where they are as a team under Slot.

This argument is incredibly disingenuous.

Aside from the fact that we're talking about a guy who's had a good month coming off the bench at Villa vs a significantly more demanding role as a centre forward here, you're always going to be able to find an example of 'good transfers' elsewhere that no one has previously heard of. But for every success story of that type, there's probably 50 duds.

Sicario2 - Tier 1 he's still at Villa because no one wants a keeper who only turns up when he feels like it. There is no position where consistency matters more.

Qwiss definitely. If Saka misses a one-on-one I'm going to call it a bad finish even if I personally wouldn't have done a better job with that chance. The idea that I can't expect these people headhunted to do their job better than what I (a person with an entirely different background who watches football for fun) would've been able to do is ridiculous.
