They've got match winners on both ends of the pitch. Salah is one of the all-timers while Konate has given them a huge boost at the back to support an ageing van Dijk. The biggest difference is that they had Endo playing as a 6 last season, but now they have Gravenberch who has stepped up massively and transformed their midfield.

Klopp didn't leave Slot with a busted squad that needed an overhaul. He left him with a squad that led the title race for most of last season and is a good mix between previous title winners and players aged 23-28.

Someone else said something similar earlier but looking at the performances of ESR and Nelson so far this season, are we really better off having essentially replaced them with Sterling who we can't even consider bringing on when we're 1-0 down and desperate?

Clrnc yeah there has been lots of online chat Liverpool are nowhere near good enough, arsenal clearly much better etc. I agree watch the narrative change if they do it to there was nothing we could have done they clearly have these players etc.

If Liverpool do win the title that is a big failure on us and Arteta that would require serious thinking about where we are going and do we have the right person to take us that next step. That would be something for the end of the season but I think it would be valid.

The idea that people only suddenly rate Liverpool is more fake news. I thought we would finish above them in the league and win the title this campaign. That doesn't mean many people don't consider Liverpool as a serious contender for the title. You'd be foolish not to.
