They've got match winners on both ends of the pitch. Salah is one of the all-timers while Konate has given them a huge boost at the back to support an ageing van Dijk. The biggest difference is that they had Endo playing as a 6 last season, but now they have Gravenberch who has stepped up massively and transformed their midfield.

Klopp didn't leave Slot with a busted squad that needed an overhaul. He left him with a squad that led the title race for most of last season and is a good mix between previous title winners and players aged 23-28.
