goon He screwed up with his initial action and then used his hand to stop the ball from going to a Liverpool player. Its not a double ricochet, it’s as intentional as it gets.
He both did screw up the initial move as he ran past the flight of the ball and instinctively (stupidly) tried to use his arm. The ball then hit him on the area between chest and shoulder above the shirt sleeve then bounced into his hand. Was stupid, and it was intentional to begin with. But the way it played out, it hit his midriff and then hit his hand right after.
I guess I'm trying to argue a technicality given he did actually move towards the ball with his arm, even if it was a futile attempt that was only made possible by the accidental ricochet off another part of his body that wasn't originally intended to touch the ball.
goon The worst thing is he could have let it go out for a goalkick.
This is it. Just panic stations by the guy unfortunately.
