The more city get turned over the more frustrating our result becomes for me. This seems to be the season you have a real chance to beat them and a draw in that context looks a missed chance accepting we got unlucky with the sending off. Just seems the luck you need with injuries/marginal outcomes going your way isn't with us this year. Just going to be incredibly frustrating if Liverpool claim the title at the end it when City maybe finally dip.

I don't think we can shake our fist at the cruelty of fate if Liverpool win it this season. If Arteta hadn't bottled the Villa game last season, we'd likely be champions.

I don't see this Liverpool team getting over 85 points so we're still in contention for the title if we avoid fuck ups.

Just feels a bit typical after waiting all this time for them to have a bad run we had one at the same time and it's someone else who's taken advantage and pulled away.

I think Liverpool will come back to the pack. Underestimating the need for squad condition over a full season is a pretty common problem for first time Premier League managers like Slot.

The trouble is how far out we've let them get. Things is half of that is down to us being systematically fucked by the league's corrupt referees. A Liverpool VAR overriding Saliba's yellow to make sure he didn't play, and that's only one of many.

I still feel a full strength arsenal dominates a full strength liverpool head to head thus season. we've had their number the last 2 seasons in particular, they've just managed to scab points off us here and there.

Gazza M I think that's fair if we were full strength but the difficulty is we've played them at home and they got a point which is a good result for them in the context of this session. Getting ahead like they have as well will give them belief and momentum. I'm terms of perfection we may not have to win "every" game but we are going to have to win the majority. Look at city we can look at them and think they've been really poor so far and they are still above us shows are own failing. There will be a not of pressure and we have to win West ham away.

Liverpool are not City, I think they’ll drop plenty.

I said the same last season when folks were waving the white flag when they were 5 points ahead with supposedly the easiest run in. They finished 7 point behind us.

We don’t need to be perfect. We need to be steady. Stop getting red cards, avoid injury. And we should catch them - certainly by the time we play them.
