To be fair, i missed the first 20 minutes or so because i didn't have a stream. But i am talking about the little combinations that Ode, Saka and White all seem to play with each other. I am hoping Ode can form that kind of telepathic thing with Cala and Martinelli (or anyone else we play in that position).

I don't think the left has been bad at all, I am only speaking generally.

DiabyKungFu He got on the end of excellent through balls played behind him. He does have the speed to get in behind, but he plays with almost zero composure or awareness. Head down, bent over, too many bobbly touches, doesn't make the right decision.

I would love for him to pick it up, we're obviously dependent on him to some degree, and I do appreciate his industry.

naz first half was decent I would say. Second half was just for fitness, they looked bored to be there. Still only pre-season.

Vieira has only ever played right wing this preseason and Nwaneri has only ever played in midfield. I don't think they're even in direct competition with one another in any way.

Main takeaway from this game is that Partey seems back to his best physically, which I did not expect at all.

DiabyKungFu if i had to guess, Vieira is suffering from the same issue as guys like ESR. Arteta likes physicality and workrate in the middle. The kids as young as they are, are already giving us that. Vieira is still very lightweight. I am surprised to see how frail he still looks 2 years after touching down. He won't be allowed to play 8 if he can't press and run like Odegaard and Havertz

Thought Zinchenko looked decent today...

Don Pacifico he's been good this whole pre-season. He seems much more switched on. Has played a role in good attacking moves and got a good goal versus Leverkusen. A focused Zinchenko is a great asset for the team. We need 15-16 high quality guys to see us through the gauntlet to January. He has to be one of them.

Sicario2 - Tier 1 who is buying him? This is like when folks were saying we should shift Tierney for 25m pounds. Other clubs aren't stupid. They know he's a permacrock. Remember he's also on 100,000 pounds a week - so you are already down to a very narrow group of buyers.
