CPM I dont think we have. He still has it in him. He scored some big goals last year (Liverpool comes to mind). He just need to get one to get that taste back again.

Maybe as a bonafide starter (though until you show me a Nico Williams I’d argue that’s a lot easier said than done), but he’s still a tremendous asset in general.

Fans gotta have a player to angst about though.

Huh? Am I watching the same game? Everything dangerous that happened that half came down the left side, including the two corners we scored from. The only thing Saka did that half was get on the end of a couple of crosses that came from the left side.

If we've set the baseline that Martinelli isn't good enough for Arsenal on the basis of that half, then we should sell Saka to QPR immediately because he was miles worse than Martinelli.

USArsenal we need Martinelli for his speed. But we also clearly have Trossard ahead of him right now. Would be great to get one more speedy forward on the team. They gives us the option to play teams on the counter the way United plays City.

Led to the two corners that led to the goals and generally has been a great outlet to get us into really dangerous areas. His end product has been off but pray and spray is better than camping.

Fitting way to start the season with corner kicks working again and both Big Gab and Wilo on the score sheet.

Martinelli needs a bit more composure to merit a first team place right now.

To be fair, i missed the first 20 minutes or so because i didn't have a stream. But i am talking about the little combinations that Ode, Saka and White all seem to play with each other. I am hoping Ode can form that kind of telepathic thing with Cala and Martinelli (or anyone else we play in that position).

I don't think the left has been bad at all, I am only speaking generally.

DiabyKungFu He got on the end of excellent through balls played behind him. He does have the speed to get in behind, but he plays with almost zero composure or awareness. Head down, bent over, too many bobbly touches, doesn't make the right decision.

I would love for him to pick it up, we're obviously dependent on him to some degree, and I do appreciate his industry.
