Anyone who's followed his progress has gotta be fond of Nketiah as a human being, but if Smith Rowe's not good enough for us, Eddie's certainly not a player to rely on as we try to scrape a title again. If experience is a guide he'll rarely play.

I’m not sure Palace are exciting - they’ve shown little ambition this summer. But they’re not as dysfunctional as Forest, and they’re in London.

aside from that purple patch last year, Nketiah's goal record against him is fairly similar.

decent fee for eddie. he isnt arsenal starting forward quality, but he can have a long career in the league for mid table sides. best of luck to him.

We are well past the level of Gimenez IMO. I actually think he's worse than Eddie and will get exposed in the EPL.

I guess the risk becomes whether we think we can squeeze more value from him off the back of a loan versus securing a guaranteed buyer this summer.
