If Øde were the reference point, Smith Rowe would've been excelling on loan to a club like Villa or Dortmund. I just don't see it. We all know Smith Rowe's sky high potential, but he's injury prone and has barely played in two full seasons. He's not similar to Ødegaard or Olise. Take it with a grain of salt, but Transfermarkt reckons he's worth €22m, down from a peak of €40m (€70m Martinelli, €35m Trossard). I'll be shocked if we get £30m at this point. If we keep him, it'll be less in the future.
