It reminds me of when we were laughing at Liverpool for not winning the league. Deep down the reason for me was jealously, that that club had organically surpassed us, was running like clockwork on and off the pitch. They were competing for the title while we were dreaming up scenarios of scraping a Top 4 finish. The thought of them winning the title made sick while we looked a million miles away from that level.

That and the fact Liverpool fans are the most insufferable twats going tbf.

Teams in Ferguson's era almost never enjoyed the total dominance City has often had. And of course Fergie barely even coached on a technical level, he left that to the likes of Queiroz.

If Liverpool have deserved three league titles under Klopp then we've deserved one. No one would agree with that so let's not make the case for Pool, there are no greater experts in victimology.

I think it’s definitely one of the other here. Getting ahead of potential relegation/transfer ban by bringing in young talent and offering huge wages to players they’ll need to get back up quickly (Haaland/Marmoush). In Haaland’s case, I think his dream was Madrid but it’s clear there won’t be a spot for him there so he probably realizes no one else can really afford the wages he wants outside of City and Saudi.

I don't think it'll help in case of relegation. Surely all players going there or signing new contracts now will have a clause about that.

The case has already been ruled on right? So there must be some knowledge in the club somewhere and with this stuff it feels like it might not be a particularly significant ruling against them.
