Mikel spoke this week about a need to share the minutes better this season, and to improve player availability.
With departures, and the likelihood that guys like Tomiyasu, Partey and Vieira will need to be managed from a physical perspective, we can rest assure that they’ll be more incomings.
I think Merino will come in to add depth. I hope we bring in a marque addition to the midfield and attack as well. Hopefully that’s Ruiz or someone of a similar profile.
That cover for Saka is also key. Seen links to Chiesa over the last day or so but I’m not sold on him. Has dropped off a lot in recent years.
