I'm just thinking we need different as well. If we are in a position where we are struggling to score and we have Havertz on the field already, I am not convinced bringing on another Havertz is going to do the trick, especially since stamina and physicality are some of his strongest attributes.
I do not want to play or assemble a squad like Liverpool, chockfull of mid strikers, and only an aging Salah to provide occasional moments of top quality. More of the same is okay, Something different gives us different options, different ceilings. I want a maverick. We are going to splash the cash, so if we are investing in center forward, I would want us to get someone with some attribute that the opposition absolutely has to account for specifically. Say stupid pace, or insane physicality or shot power, or dribbling ability or uncommon finishing technique/accuracy. Or someone who can grow to be that guy.
If we think Sesko has got that potential, then by all means bring him in. If not, find that person, or allocate resources to other positions that more urgently need reinforcement, and let Havertz keep doing his thing till we find a proper world class successor.
